The roster updates each hour, which is more often than most counties in the state. Bail status updates after 6 PM each day. The search field uses last name only. You can enter a partial name and the system will return all matches. For example, typing "jo" pulls up Johnson, Johnston, and Jones.
Each record shows the full legal name, the booking date and time, the current charges, the bond amount, the bond type, the housing facility, the booking number, and any linked court case numbers. The roster does not show mugshots, juvenile bookings, or released inmates. Some recent bookings may not show right away while staff process them.

Thurston County Booking Photos and Records Request
Booking photos are not on the public roster. To get a Thurston County mugshot, you must file a public records request with the Sheriff's Office. Under RCW 42.56, the office must answer in five business days. The reply may include a tracking number, a fee estimate, the records, or a denial. Standard county fees are $0.15 per page for paper, $0.10 per page for scans, $0.05 per four files for electronic delivery, and $0.10 per GB for transmission. Body worn camera redaction costs $0.48 per minute of staff time, with a 10% deposit on big requests.

Thurston County Court Records and Clerk Docs
Court records in Thurston County are kept by the County Clerk. The Clerk runs a new Clerk Documents system at clerkdocs.thurstoncountywa.gov. The site went live in March 2025. You can search by case number, preview docs, add them to a cart, pay online, and download right away. The site is open from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The Clerk also offers Odyssey portal access through the Case and Hearing Search. The Odyssey search is free for case info. You can search by case number, party name, attorney, case title, or hearing date.
Hard copies are $0.50 per page. Electronic copies are $0.25 per page. Certified copies are $5.00 first page plus $1.00 each added page. To request docs by email, send a note to tcclerk@co.thurston.wa.us with the case number and what you need. Court records are not under the Public Records Act. Access is set by court rules. Pierce and King County cases cannot be searched through the Thurston portal.
